The Corn Syrup Dilemna

A couple of years ago, there was this epic campaign about how terrible corn syrup was for you. And honestly, it isn't. Everything in moderation. I mean we eat A LOT of corn syrup in everything. But corn syrup is no worse for you than any other kind of sugar. The only good thing that came out of this campaign was that it opened up the market for other types of sugar. Sugars that can be considered a little more healthy as they may have a low glycemic index, like agave nectar or Stevia. But ultimately if companies start overusing these in drinks and cakes then we'll be right back at square one with corn syrup.
